A Great Letting Go

Cheryl: Greetings, Guides ~

Wherever I look - within and around me - the theme of 'release' is in motion.

Release, in so many forms:
-  material belongings (some held for generations!) 
-  constrictive socio-political-spiritual beliefs
-  hindering emotional patterns
-  divisive ways of viewing the world and each other
-  a youthful body aging into wisdom years
-  an embodied life experience coming to conclusion

I navigate my own life releases with varying degrees of grace ... some with relative ease, even curiosity and excitement about what's next, others with grief, contraction, and disequilibrium.

Would you share your perspectives on the human experience of 'release' now so vibrant on this Earth?  Thank you.

Akashic Guides: Indeed.

We can understand that it feels to you like a free fall.

But as chaotic as it may seem, know that you are tenderly held in this process and that your participation in this releasing is important on a grander scale.

Cheryl: The velocity of release now seems accelerated to a degree I find stunning. At times it seems to happen on its own; at others like I need to dig deeply with great effort. It’s a process of sorting, examining, sitting-with, deciding (or being led) to release or carry forward … then repeating, repeating, repeating!

Akashic Guides: Yes. It is a bit of a ‘collective Saturn Return’, a time of reconsidering and stepping into a new phase or another level of maturity and wisdom. Individually, one might consider it a ‘bonus Saturn Return’ in this lifetime!

[Note: here I can feel the Guides smiling, for they know I am quite aware of how radically transformative Saturn cycles can be. So, I jokingly ask if this means I can skip my third Saturn Return if I live into my late 80’s. We share a hearty laugh.]

You cannot go through this gateway with all that is in your backpacks, with all that you have accumulated. The gateway is too narrow for anything that no longer serves you individually or collectively. This is a matter of frequency, Dear Ones.

Strong can be the attachments to the contents you carry. Strong too, are your desires for freedom and lightness and the willingness to make your contribution.

Passing through this portal requires a great letting go.

None of these ‘things’ are who you are, Dear Ones. Nor do they even come near defining or describing your great value. Do you see yourself rightly and your Brothers and Sisters clearly?

Letting-go of possessions which own you, releasing assumptions, judgements, and yes, even cherished identities, roles, and beliefs which define you, makes room for the new. Only by clearing out what confines and burdens you can you bring into being the world you desire.

Holding onto all these things / energies / constructs out of habit or fear only reinforces what has been and keeps the patterns of energy and structures of the past in place. There is nothing linear about the times you are in.

Are you willing to die to what has been?

Including dying to your own understanding of the world, yourself, and your place in it?

You are standing in the fire of purification, Beloveds. Give yourselves to this process willingly. Trust. You will emerge renewed, transformed, stronger and more capable than you can now imagine.

We bear witness to your courageous hearts and stand beside you. You are never alone and without support.

Can you hear us cheering you on? Whispering in your ear?
