As I pondered this question, it reminded me of the Guides’ message from October 2022, titled Your Heart Can Bear the Whole Truth of Your World. The Guides’ message from nearly four years ago is as relevant - and tender - now as it was then.

Question: “Is it ever concerning for you, what you hear? Because I don’t want you to be too involved as the ‘middle woman’. Do you ever kind of wish you didn’t have to hear things or find it too much to relay it all?”
Cheryl: Wonderful questions, thank you.
I have never felt overwhelmed or found the information ‘too much to bear’.
As an Akashic Records practitioner, at times I bear witness to a person’s traumatic history, recurrent struggles, painful recalcitrant patterns … whatever the person I’m sitting with is moved to share. All of this is held in the field of Love within the Akashic Records.
Are there times when I am touched emotionally? Yes, there are times I am moved by what I perceive or witness - deeply so. Sometimes this is an empathic response to a fellow human’s experience, other times it is a response to the tenderness of the Guides’ response. There is such tenderness present within the Records.
Do I ever wish not to hear another person’s truth? Do I ever wish not to convey a message offered from the Guides? Being a seeker of Truth my whole life, I don’t believe I have ever wished not to see or know the truth when offering a reading.
A human life on Earth encompasses – by turns – glory and horror, celebration and heartache, brilliance and shadow. Sitting with a fellow human in this amplitude is an honor. The loving, non-judgmental energy within the Akashic Records provides a perfect container to hold it all. I do not fear what I might see or come to know, either about myself or the person with whom I am sitting.
Perhaps most important is this: after a half-century of sitting with people in all manner of settings - from therapeutic and pastoral counseling, to spiritual ceremony, to Akashic Records reading - I have come to know there is a perfection within the created order, and the person with whom I am sitting is a divine fractal of that perfection.
