Your Beautiful, Authentic Creation

Cheryl: Greetings Akashic Guides ~
I cross paths with many people who are confused about - and hesitant to step into - leadership roles, or express leadership in any way. This seems to occur (at least in part) because what is called ‘leadership’ is often expressed as domination, or power-over. Power-over nature, other beings, circumstances, etc.
From your perspective, what is the true nature of leadership among humans?
If one is inspired to be in a leadership role, how best to do so from a place of love, respect, creativity, and collaboration?
Akashic Guides: We are pleased to respond to your inquiry, for it is indeed “timely” and in alignment with the larger energies in which you are currently swimming.
In this era, whether in your political, religious, economic, technologic, educational, or social realms, True Leadership is not at all what has been offered, so we invite you first to take a step back from such a limited definition - and, take a breath.
For many, contraction and fear or anxiety are the first responses to the term ‘leadership’.
This is because of your innate knowing that what you are currently witnessing goes against the grain and is not something with which you wish to align yourself. This often may not even be conscious, but rather, arises from your nervous system and within the deeper knowing of your heart.
Secondly, for many, such responses are born of past experiences of being targeted (both in other lives and in this life time) for “stepping out of line”. Much effort has gone into steering you away from the truth of who you are and your natural leadership capabilities. So, this is why many hesitate or dare not to consider it possible.
In order for you to even ask this question with openness, much healing has been needed, and has occurred.
Cheryl: Yes, I can see all of that and feel it to be so very true.
Akashic Guides: Yet True Leadership, at core, is simply authentic self-expression. As such, it is an offering of self to the world. This act, in and of itself, is leadership.
One offers by example what is possible and this flows from each of you, in spite of all the attempts to constrict expression of it. Many would never consider themselves as offering leadership due to the dominant (and dominating) definition of leadership currently at play.
Yet most True Leadership occurs “off stage” - away from the public eye - and is thus unrecognized and undervalued, even by those who provide it! It is not recognized as it so often appears in humility, from generosity, and with consideration of all.
Cheryl: So how do we address this distortion around leadership? How do we contribute to shifting this away from its current expression to a more loving expression?
Akashic Guides: First recognize that it IS shifting. This is part of what is contributing to the turmoil that is so abundant. Then, aligning yourself with the flow away from what-has-been will expedite and expand expression of the higher frequency of leadership.
Challenging the limited definition and expression of leadership given to you is one of the most important activities you can engage in at this time in your evolution. Anyone can do this.
It is time to question all things so as to reclaim them for yourselves.
If you only use your mental faculties (or only take meaning from what you have been told), any concept or thing ceases being a living part of a larger system.
It becomes much like a bug that a collector of insects pins to a display board; a husk of what is a living, dynamic, evolving part of the tapestry of reality. But in this case, it is even less than husk, for what is offered as leadership, is a gross distortion.
This is why it is so appropriate to bring forth your full self, your full knowing, to engage in these times.
Dare to act from your resonance with the higher, more expansive expressions of leadership. You each can and do contribute to this simply by being yourself.
For those of you who have the wiring to offer skills in a more public arena, do not fear. You all will benefit by staying grounded and in your hearts, seeking stillness, and staying open to the contributions of all.
Our desire for you is that not one of you hold back the expression of your beautiful, authentic creation.
